After watching the "Is Wal-Mart Good for America" PBS Frontline documentary, please answer the following question, in at least 2 complete sentences, correct spelling and grammar:
1. Are you in favor or outsourcing or against it? Tell me whether you are for or against outsourcing, and give me at least 3 reasons why.
I personally am against outsourcing. It takes away jobs from individual Americans, can destroy businesses who can't keep up, and promotes the poor job conditions in China.

In addition to that, although it diminishes manufacturing jobs, it creates jobs in other areas. Finally, it makes prices a lot cheaper for the consumer.

DeleteI want to say that I'm in favor for outsourcing. I say this because for one there are cheap prices. They send products over seas so that makes it cheaper. Also, it provides jobs for other privledge people in the countries.

ReplyDeleteI am against outsourcing because people in the U.S. are losing jobs. U.S companies aren't hiring U.S. manufactures which causes U.S. manufactures to go out of business. Outsourcing is also cutting benefits of workers in the U.S.
ReplyDeleteI am against outsourcing. There will be loss of managerial control and it will belong to another company. Employees also feel threatened because their job is at risk. Lastly, security issues are a big deal also. It is more challenging to secure data when it's in someone else's hands.

There is also the case of us growing in our debt to china which could end up with the US going bankrupt if they want to collect it anytime soon. and the last reason i have for being against outsourcing is the fact that yes it may decrease the prices of products but it at the same time decreases the amount of annual income US citizens receive.
